A retreat that unfolded slowly, and stayed long after it ended.
Guided by "Zawiya with Ghadah", whose medical background, love of travel, and attention to detail shaped the journey, I held the wellness sessions throughout the retreat, grounding each day in yin yoga, breath, and reflection.
We arrived carrying the usual weight a subtle tension in the body, a mind that doesn’t fully land. By the ocean, something began to soften. The breath deepened. The nervous system settled. There was space again.
Then Marrakech. Where the outer richness met an inner stillness. Through practice and shared moments, layers gently fell away not through effort, but through presence.
There was laughter, silence, insight. There were moments of recognition; the kind that don’t need words.
By the end, something had shifted. We left lighter. Clearer. More connected to ourselves.
Not transformed into something new, but returned to something true.
This retreat has passed, but its touched our lives forever.
